Driving from the City of Angels to the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is about 4 hours via 1-15. We passed through this route in 2013 so I knew what to expect already. Heavy traffic on Los Angeles side of the trip. While beautiful views of the mountains and the desert on the other side of the trip.
We arrived at the hotel past 6pm already. I remember before crashing on the bed how terrible the cigarette smoke was, as we breezed our way from the Casino area of Treasure Island to the elevators leading to our room.
King Room at the Treasure Island is spacious and nice. And the bed was very comfortable. (Click on the photos for a bigger view.)
The bathroom is also huge. And it came with a bath tub.
I loved the cozy atmosphere and its privacy. Being on a higher floor, I loved the view as well.
Night time view:
The Venetian and the rest of the strip. (forgive the reflections)
Day Time View from our window:
Left side of the window is The Venetian Hotel.
Right side of our window is The Mirage.
And the pool area, below us.
We got a pretty good view, I’d say… 🙂
Not bad for a home away from home…
True, our first night was somewhat of a blur. But since we’re booked for 5 nights, we’re okay. We have more than enough time to enjoy Las Vegas! 🙂
See you again on the next installment of this blog. Thanks for reading everyone.
