Road tripping in the US is great, specially during fall, where all the leaves have turned to a myriad of vibrant colors. I cannot express my awe in words. So I will just take you down memory lane through my drive by photos.
Yes, all the pictures in this article were taken while we were traveling. So please forgive the windshield spots in some of them. 🙂 Believe me, it does not diminish the beauty of the place. At all…
So before I start, let me just say this – you can enlarge the pictures by clicking on them.
Coming from Canada, we entered through the Immigration center near Buffalo , New York . The route we took on our way to Pennsylvania was East 20A, initially. We just relied on our phone’s and the car’s GPS. We figured that even if we get lost, we’d still be in America. So that thought wasn’t scary at all. ha ha
I love the vacant space and the wind mills from a distance.
I’m not sure which town is this. But they love the American flag. 🙂
Stress free travel means no terrible traffic, no crazy drivers on the road and colorful fall colors. 🙂
Horses grazing on the field. Wouldn’t you want this as your front yard? I would! 🙂
Genesee Falls Inn is located in Portageville, New York. It caught my attention because it looks so old already and yet it is still operational. From what I read online, it is going through a restoration now to preserve its historical value.
The brown signage below says Letchworth State Park. I had no idea about it then. But from further reading, I realized that this park is famous for their waterfalls, specially during winter when the waterfalls turn into ice. 🙂 Interesting right?

A large house in the middle of nowhere. 🙂
The state of New York is huge! If you have been following this blog, you’d know that we have been traveling for days already starting in New York City. Then went up the Adirondacks mountain in Upstate New York. Proceeded to Canada afterwards. Then came out in New York again.
Look at that space below. Beautiful right? 🙂
I like the old building beside the highway. I think that’s a barn.
How’s this for a front yard?
Look, more beautiful scenery! 🙂
Stopped at an Arby’s along the way for lunch.
The sign says it’s 20 miles to Corning. But I took this photo mostly for the creek beside the road. The water is so clean and clear….
They pay expensive taxes in the US. But at least you can see where it’s going.
Deer sign. 🙂 That’s what I miss when I’m in the Philippines. No wild life, anymore.
Truck stop beside the road.
Welcome to Pennsylvania! 🙂
The beautiful roads and sceneries continue….
Beautiful right? 🙂
Makes me wish I am traveling again…
Fall overload… haha
I miss this view….
We have arrived…. Now you know, where in Pennsylvania we are. 🙂
Yep, that’s right!
But that’s for another blog. So do come back and check what’s there in my next post.
Bye for now! 🙂
