Photo Essay – New York to Pennsylvania Roadtrip

Road tripping in the US is great, specially during fall, where all the leaves have turned to a myriad of vibrant colors. I cannot express my awe in words. So I will just take you down memory lane through my drive by photos.

Yes, all the pictures in this article were taken while we were traveling. So please forgive the windshield spots in some of them. đŸ™‚ Believe me, it does not diminish the beauty of the place. At all…

So before I start, let me just say this – you can enlarge the pictures by clicking on them.

Coming from Canada, we entered through the Immigration center near Buffalo , New York . The route we took on our way to Pennsylvania was East 20A, initially. We just relied on our phone’s and the car’s GPS. We figured that even if we get lost, we’d still be in America. So that thought wasn’t scary at all. ha ha

Genesee Falls Inn is located in Portageville, New York.  It caught my attention because it looks so old already and yet it is still operational. From what I read online, it is going through a restoration now to preserve its historical value.

The brown signage below says Letchworth State Park. I had no idea about it then. But from further reading, I realized that this park is famous for their waterfalls, specially during winter when the waterfalls turn into ice. đŸ™‚ Interesting right?

The state of New York is huge! If you have been following this blog, you’d know that we have been traveling for days already starting in New York City. Then went up the Adirondacks mountain in Upstate New York. Proceeded to Canada afterwards. Then came out in New York again.

Look at that space below. Beautiful right? đŸ™‚
