Ahhh.. Who haven’t heard of Hershey’s and Reese’s? I am sure, most kids and adults do, right? Well , we made this a part of our road trip in America last year. Sorry for the late blog but life has been very hectic. 🙂
From Niagara Falls in Canada, travel time was about 6 hours passing through some amazing landscapes. Check my Pennsylvania page and you will see my previous blog about it. Calling it beautiful is definitely an understatement.
We took 20A upon entering Buffalo , New York area. Then down to Highway 99 which eventually became Interstate 15 as we got nearer to Hershey.
Finally, we have arrived…. At the Sweetest Place on Earth – Hershey , Pennsylvania. 🙂
We checked in immediately at Super 8 upon arrival. It’s a simple but brand new hotel. At $80 per night, I found it cheap. The room was large and had two queen size beds. The bathroom has a tub too. Plus our booking had free breakfast. Not bad, considering the price. And it was very clean at that! 🙂
From there, we went out to look for food. And then I noticed the street lights! 🙂
They’re built like “Hershey Kisses” . ha ha Cute right? You definitely can’t find those anywhere!
They have streets named as Chocolate Ave. Hershey Park Dr. Etc. 🙂 So interesting….
And then we found their restaurant area. After an early dinner, we visited their grocery store. And found some interesting things.
We have these flowers in Buda. 🙂
These too, right?
I had fun with this giant pumpkin! ha ha
John, being his funny self again. lol
On our second day, we left the hotel for the outlet malls, after breakfast. Believe me, visiting the outlet malls when you’re in the U.S. is a must! It is way cheaper than shopping in the Philippines. Specially with their autumn sale. 🙂
See… he says he’s smiling. haha
After our shopping galore, John brought me to the Hershey and Reese’s factory. 🙂
Large chocolates. haha… Diet is over huh! 🙂
Took a free tour of the factory.
If you click on the picture below, you will see their production of the day. 🙂
If you get hungry after the tour, don’t worry.. There’s a restaurant inside! 🙂
Ahh… Hershey’s. You are one of the happiest experiences in our road trip.
Till we meet again! 🙂
Bye for now! 🙂
