Tinuy-an Falls is located in Surigao Del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines. From Davao City, travel time is more or less, 6 hours by land trip. That’s why it is advisable to book a hotel either in Mangagoy, Bislig, Surigao del Sur. Or at a beach resort in Barobo, Surigao del Sur. Sleep there for the night. And proceed to the waterfalls the next day so you’ll have enough time to enjoy the place.
I know I wouldn’t want to do a “hit and run” for such a visit, considering the presence of the Philippines’ largest waterfall.
Yes, it is far. But the trip is worth it. 🙂
