Before 2014 ends, I’d like to thank God for the many blessings. May they be answered prayers or unexpected gifts, thank you father for your never-ending love. All honor is yours, my Lord.
My January started with a blast. January 1 brought us to Secdea Beach Resort in Samal Island. Yep, what better way to start the year than be at the beach with the people you love? 🙂
I feel blessed with my work. Got rewarded by February. 🙂
John and I with two of my best agents, Laura and Delaila.
March was a very tiring month. But had fun during the Family’s Philippine Road Trip by April. 🙂 – https://leawalkerblog.com/2014/08/25/road-trip-manila-to-davao-day-1/
Fish Feeding at Nuvali, Cavite with mama and the rest of the family. 🙂
The rest of April and May were all about work, work and work. But was able to spend a day or two in Samal Island to rest. I remember those months to be really exhausting.
June brought us John’s golden age. So we had a party in our Mambago property. And ended the night in Pearl Farm.
By now, I’m sure you’ve seen the pattern. lol In between my works/projects, I try to get away and spend time with family. I am so thankful that I have the option to do so.
I told you years ago that my father had a stroke. He had another big one late last year. We’re just glad that with the help of his doctors, Dr. Marcos Ong and Dr. Edward Cagape (thank you both!), he got better.
July brought us his 67th birthday. Thank God. 🙂 We asked him what he wanted for his birthday. He said – none. He has everything, he said. Rather than giving him a party, we all decided to stay overnight at Eden Nature Park to celebrate it.
Ahhh… August. One of the busiest months in any given year. That’s Kadayawan Festival in Davao. I don’t know why but work is at a peak during this month. And on top of that, we got so busy with our new office. We finally had it blessed this month. Woo-hoo , our permanent business address. Thank you Lord!
Thank you Fr. Bong Gonzaga for doing the blessing rite.
I also received a recognition on August. It felt like going to a Prom Night. ha ha
September brought us to a business event in General Santos City.
We were invited to Dole Plantation in Kalsangi, Polomolok a day after the event. This is where the “pleasure” part of the trip began. 🙂 I love the pineapple plantation there. It’s surrounded by pine trees and mountains. Reminds me of the Rocky Mountains. Less the snow of course. 🙂 The temperature at the plantation is a lot lower than Davao City. That’s one of the things I love about the place.
I got recognized again this month. Thank you Avida for giving me the chance to become a part of one of the Philippines’ most respected companies.
October, my birthday month. Where do I begin? I had so much fun with our road trip which as you know, started in New York City. Then off to Canada via Montreal. Back to the US through Buffalo , New York. Went to the Hershey Factory in Pensylvannia. Stayed a week in Washington, DC. Down to the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Then the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee.
Awesome right?!
Now you understand why I always have that silly grin in my face. ha ha…
Before going back home last November, our vacation continues. Spent an early Thanksgiving with the family.
Visited Helen Keller’s birthplace in Tuscombia, Alabama.
So happy to see bisons again. 🙂
We found some snow in Chicago. Geee… it was -16’c (3’f) before we left for the Philippines. I love seeing and feeling the snow. For a few minutes, that is…. It’s so beautiful to look at. And it’s great with photo op. But that’s it! I admire those of you who work during winter time. God, that’s cold. I’m glad I have the Philippines to go back to, where sunshine is the norm, most days of the year. 🙂
December , one would think that things will wind down because it’s Christmas time. But hopping from one party to the other is exhausting too. Remember, I work during day time. So it’s difficult for me to stay awake till late at night. But duty calls. And for the love of my work, I go…
DMC-UPDI Christmas Party at the Apo View Hotel. (L to R) Jener, Tadeo, John, me, Laura and Analyn.
Santos Land Christmas Party at the Waterfront Insular Hotel.
My Allea Family has grown. There were about 80 people this time. Double than last year’s guests. Thank you all for being a part of our company.
At the Alveo Christmas Party in Seda Hotel.
The blessings didn’t stop there. I got more gifts! 🙂 Thank you for the recognition. And thank you po Lord for everything.
The year 2014 has been amazing to me. I don’t know what to say except thank you Lord. Again.
Here’s praying for you and me that we will all be as blessed in the coming year.
Happy New Year everyone! 🙂
Cheers!
